This post is about artists opening their houses and studios in all the following places in Kent: Broadstairs, Canterbury, Deal, Faversham, Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate, Sheppey and Whitstable. The event – part of Canterbury Festival – takes place on these weekends in October 2024:
12th and 13th October 2024
19th and 20th October 2024
26th and 27th October 2024
Below, you can see the booklet which lists all the places you can visit on those weekends. It includes the opening times which vary slightly from place to place. There are over 220 artists spread over 110 house and studios, with a good number of galleries taking part too. You have the opportunity to meet artists in person, to see where – and how – they work and if you wish you can purchase or commission artworks in a friendly and relaxed way.

This year, I am taking part, so if you are able to travel to East Kent, you can visit my house and studio between 11am and 5pm on any of the dates listed above. I am one of five artists based in Ramsgate.

Here I am, on page 60 of the brochure:

Full details of how to find me are available in the brochure (available from The Customs House, The Wooden Box Gallery or The Wooden Box Cafe, in Ramsgate) or on the website: https://www.ekoh.org.uk
As you can imagine, this week will be quite a busy week as I prepare for the visitors. There are lots of quilts!
