On the ‘Check Your Thread’ podcast

‘Check Your Thread’ is a podcast hosted by Zoe Edwards who blogs and makes podcasts about sewing. She has been blogging about sewing for eighteen years (the link is below at the end of the post). She is the creator of the wardrobe challenge ‘Me Made Made’ designed to encourage people to wear their handmade clothes with confidence and pride. Like many of us, she is ‘increasingly concerned about the climate and ecological crises’ and often concentrates on issues around sewing more sustainably.

I have recommended Zoe’s podcast ‘Check Your Thread’ on my monthly newsletter before (in my ‘Textiles on the Internet’ series) but today I’m giving you a direct link to one of the episodes because it is one I think will interest you – and I made a modest contribution to it. It’s episode number 220 and the title is ‘How to save and make money with sewing

I subscribe to Zoe’s ‘Check Your Thread’ newsletter and she recently asked readers the question: ‘How do you save and make money with sewing?’ so I replied. You can hear Zoe reading my answer during the podcast. This is the link: https://checkyourthread.com/podcast/220-how-to-save-and-make-money-with-sewing/
