The July issue of We Like Sewing is out now.
My contribution to the magazine is an appliqué project. I like how editor Caitlin Eaton introduces the project in her Introduction to the new issue:
“And the adorable Laundry Day Clothespin Bag is just what you need to feel motivated on laundry days (after you procrastinate by sewing this cute bag, of course)!”
The bag features a washing line full of colourful garments, complete with their own ‘pegs’ or ‘clothespins’, depending on which side of the world you are hanging out your washing.
It’s a structured project, beginning with simpler appliqué shapes and ending with more complex ones.
