Quilt Patterns so far (June 2018)

Happy-Holidays-quilt pattern by Amanda Jane Textiles

It’s almost four years now since I became self-employed and part of my original plan was to write quilt and sewing patterns. I have written quite a few now for magazines (you can see the list here), but I have also been writing my own patterns.  I can confidently recommend them to you, because of the feedback I have received, including:

‘It’s the easiest pattern I’ve ever used – and I’ve been quilting a long time.’

I sometimes sell the patterns in paper form at Craft Fairs, but most often sell via my Etsy shop. This year, Etsy is celebrating its 13th birthday with a site-wide sale. In the Amanda Jane Textiles shop, most patterns are 50% off from the 18th June until the 22nd June 2018. So I thought I would show you my range.

There are two double bed quilts:

There are five single bed quilts:

Next come two cot quilts and two lap-quilts:

There are some useful items for quilters and sewers:

There are tea-cosies and cafetiere cosies:

A couple of things for Christmas:

And a really cute mini-quilt to make for a teddy or doll and a pair of pretty zip-up bags.

Editor’s note: since this blog post was written, many new patterns have been added to the collection. See them all in the Etsy shop by clicking here.

This is my ‘Abstract Watercolour’ fabric design. You can find it here.

It looks especially nice printed on the Celosia Velvet base fabric!
