In the Crafts Council Directory

The Crafts Council is the UK national development agency for contemporary craft. The Crafts Council’s goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see collect and learn about contemporary craft.

This week, I am happy to be able to tell you that I have been selected for inclusion in the Crafts Council Directory. I am one of 700 makers in a wide variety of disciplines to be represented. I hope you will take a look at my profile, which you can see here. It includes ten projects I have worked on, including this quilt, called ‘Caught Napping’:

The original of this quilt has just gone to live with my beloved great-nephew who has just got home after spending 92 days in an intensive special care baby unit, after arriving very early.

This week a fourth advertisement will appear in the Metro magazine in the North-East of England. This time, my fabrics will be featured. The ones you can see in the image are ‘Farne Islands’, referencing the group of islands off the Northumberland coast (where you can indeed see seals on the rocks and puffins floating on the waves) and ‘Rock and Roll’ featuring juke-boxes, drum kits, saxophones and more. You can see every single one of my fabrics here.

Thank you for reading my blog. Quilt patterns are here, Fabrics are here, Classes are here.
