Pinwheel Blocks

The March issue of We Like Sewing magazine is out now. Here’s the cover:

My contribution to the magazine is mentioned on the cover, at the bottom of the page ‘Pinwheel Passion: Meet Your New Favorite Quilt Block’. The article is called ‘Rose Quartz Pinwheel Quilt Blocks’. It gives full instructions for making four different pinwheel patchwork blocks, pictured in the photo below.

Each of these blocks (in whichever combination of colours you choose) can add liveliness and movement to a quilt, so it is well worth taking the time to master them.
